Racing driver Favio Pierleoni lost control of a Lamborghini Aventador on Saturday in the hills of Castelvetro di Modena, Italy which led to a horrible crash.

Racing driver Favio Pierleoni lost control of a Lamborghini Aventador on Saturday in the hills of Castelvetro di Modena, Italy which led to a horrible crash.

After the powerful impact, the LP700-4 caught fire in a ditch but luckily the driver and passenger were rescued from the burning metal by the owner of a vinegar factory located nearby. Both driver and passenger were rushed over to the hospital to get the necessary medical attention but are now in critical condition. The passenger is Daniele Valestri who according to preliminary information has suffered burns on 40 percent of his body.

As the attached photo shows, the car has been completely destroyed. The accident occurred only one day after Favio Pierleoni posted a picture with the Aventador on Instagram and said he would continue to drive the car despite the bad weather.
