Citroen introduced the DS3 Cabrio Racing concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year and a new report is indicating the production model will be unveiled next month.

According to Auto Express, the production model will closely echo the concept and feature sporty styling and an optional Moondark matte exterior. The cabin is also slated to borrow cues from the concept so expect Nappa leather sport seats and numerous Alcantara accents.

Like the DS3 Racing, the DS3 Cabrio Racing will feature a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that develops 200 HP (147 kW) and 275 Nm (203 lb-ft) of torque. This will reportedly enable the car to accelerate 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

Production will reportedly be limited to 400 units but nothing is official as of yet.
