British media is reporting Skoda plans to showcase a four-door coupe concept of the Octavia in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The third-gen Octavia is currently offered in liftback and combi body styles but chances are a four-door coupe will be added to the range for the first time in the car's existence. A preview concept will allegedly be exhibited in Geneva next March and is expected to adopt a considerably sharper design with triangular headlights and a more aggressive crease running along the sides of the car.

It will ride on the same MQB platform as the standard Octavia and will have an identical 2686mm wheelbase. It will look more attractive thanks to the sloping roofline which as expected will have a negative impact on rear headroom. Cargo capacity won't have to suffer that much as it should stand at about 1,500 liters with the rear seats folded.
