Audi has announced plans to introduce a new crossover coupe concept at the North American International Auto Show.

Unceremoniously named the "new Audi show car," the concept has a single frame grille that is flanked by sweepback headlights. We can also see short overhangs, a low roof and thick C-pillars. Other highlights include aluminum underbody guards, a bold "tornado line" and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The four-seat interior is minimalistic but has a flat-bottomed steering wheel, circular air vents and a full-length center console.

Audi declined to release performance specifications but confirmed the concept "combines a host of visual elements from future sports car models."
