BMW has finally launched the X6 M Design Edition.
Described as "particularly sporty and visually striking," the limited edition has an M Performance body kit that includes a carbon fiber front and rear spoiler. The crossover also features a black grille, a black diffuser and 21-inch M Performance light-alloy wheels.
The cabin comes nicely equipped with Merino leather seats, a Black / Mugello Red leather dashboard and Mugello Red contrast stitching. Other highlights include piano black trim, an individually-numbered badge and additional standard equipment.
Like the standard model, the X6 M Design Edition has a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that develops 555 HP (408 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed M Sport automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the crossover to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and hit a limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
Production will be limited to 100 units but there's no word on pricing.
