AC Schnitzer has introduced their new tuning program for the facelifted BMW 5-Series.

Set to debut at the Essen Motor Show, the 5-Series lineup can be equipped can be equipped with an aerodynamic body kit that includes a front spoiler, revised side skirts and a rear / tailgate-mounted spoiler. The model can also be outfitted with a ventilated hood and a rear bumper insert.

Customers can also order high-performance brakes, a sports exhaust system and a lowering kit which reduces the ride height by approximately 25mm. The company also offers a variety of wheels ranging in sizes from 18- to 21-inches.

Interior changes are limited but AC Schnitzer offers alloy pedals, velour floor mats and an illuminated gear shift knob - among other things.

For added performance, the 520d can be tuned to produce 218 HP (160 kW) while the 525d can be massaged to develop 258 HP (190 kW). If you own a 530d, it can be upgraded to produce 309 HP (227 kW). Lastly, the 535d can be tuned to produce 360 HP (264 kW) instead of the usual 313 HP (230 kW).

On the petrol side, the 528i can be upgraded to churn out 294 HP (216 kW). The 535i can also be modified to produce 360 HP (265 kW) while the 550i rings in at 525 HP (386 kW).
