BMW has announced they already have received enough orders to fill one year's worth of production for the i8.
It turns out the recently introduced "i" range is a big success for BMW as the i8 is proving to be very popular, only two months after the car was introduced in production guise at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. They already have enough orders to keep them busy for one year of production, but BMW didn't disclose an exact number of cars that have already been preordered.
They did say almost 10,000 customers placed an order for the i3 model which has effectively gone on sale earlier this month in Europe, while China and United States will get it early 2014.
