First up, the Chevrolet Colorado features unique styling which distances itself from the international variant. Key changes include a new front bumper, a revised grille and distinctive headlights. We can also see squared off fenders and a new hood.
Specifications remain a mystery but the model could be offered with four- and six-cylinder engines. There have also been rumors about a diesel variant which could use either a 2.5- or 2.8-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine.
The Subaru WRX, on the other hand, is a bit of a letdown as it looks nothing like the stunning WRX concept. Criticisms aside, the model has an upright front fascia with a prominent grille that is flanked by LED-infused headlights. The car has also been equipped with a ram air hood, extended front fenders and revised side skirts.
Official specifications are still pending but an earlier leak revealed the WRX will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine while the WRX STi will have a slightly larger 2.5-liter unit. The entry-level model is slated to be offered with a six-speed manual and a continuously variable transmission, while the WRX STi will be available exclusively with a six-speed gearbox.
Both cars will be unveiled tomorrow so stay tuned for full details.
