The Blue Oval company has confirmed the all-new Mustang will be revealed on December 5.

Following months of rumors and endless spy photos as well as renders, Ford has announced via its official Mustang YouTube account the sixth generation of the pony car will see the light of day on December 5, ahead of a public debut programmed for January at NAIAS in Detroit.

From what we know so far, design will take cues from the Evos concept and we should expect to see a prominent front grille, flowing roofline and slender headlights. At the back there should be an integrated spoiler and all-new taillights. On the inside it will feature more materials of higher quality, a three-spoke steering wheel, MyFord Touch infotainment system, metallic trim and different switchgear.

Engine lineup will allegedly comprise a V6 3.7-liter developing 305 bhp (227 kW) along with a larger V8 5.0-liter rated at 420 bhp (313 kW). The media is also speculating a smaller 4-cylinder, 2.3-liter EcoBoost motor with an output of around 275 - 310 bhp.
