We already knew pretty much about the car's exterior styling and now we have the opportunity to take a look at the cabin which appears to be considerably more premium compared to the outgoing model but it's still not a match to its German rivals.

The Genesis will be offered for the first time with an optional all-wheel drive system (HTRAC) and will be a much safer car compared to its predecessors thanks to an improvement of the body's structure and rigidity as well as due to the implementation of various safety technologies.

Under the hood it will likely get updated versions of the familiar 3.8-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines which will work together with a more refined eight-speed automatic transmission. Later on during the car's lifespan it could also be offered with a ten-speed automatic gearbox.

The 2014 Hyundai Genesis will likely be revealed before the end of this month.
