Tesla Motors has opened their first dealership in the United Kingdom.

Located at London’s Westfield Shopping Centre in White City, the dealership features interactive displays and design studios which enable customers to create their own Model S.

As part of the opening, Tesla announced the Model S - with a 60 kWh battery - will be priced from £49,900 (OTR including a £5000 rebate from the UK Plug-in grant). The first model is slated to be delivered by the end of March 2014.

According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk "Tesla is taking the UK market very seriously, and there are more stores and service centers to come. We’re also going to establish a Supercharger network so Model S customers will be able to drive long distances anywhere in the UK using our network for free, forever." He went on to say the company will install their first U.K Supercharger in the next quarter and should have the entire country covered by end of next year.
