According to a recent report, Porsche is developing a new 911 Speedster.

Details are limited but Autobild is reporting the model will be introduced in early 2015 and feature hidden door handles like the 550 Spyder. The car could also be equipped with a manual soft top that resides under a distinctive rear cover.

Little else is known about the model but the last 911 Speedster was introduced at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. It was based on the Carrera S Cabrio and featured an aerodynamic body kit, additional standard equipment and an upgraded 3.8-liter flat six engine.

Production will reportedly be limited to 550 units so expect it to carry a hefty price tag.
