Nissan recently announced plans to introduce the GT-R Nismo at the Tokyo Motor Show and now they've released a mysterious teaser video called "1."
The five second long clip doesn't show the car but it zooms in on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and flashes the number one. This implies the car set a new lap record but nothing is official as of yet. If this is the case, the GT-R Nismo would have drastically improved on its previous 7:28 lap time and beaten the Porsche 918 Spyder's time of 6 minutes and 57 seconds.
Whatever the case, the GT-R Nismo is expected to have a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that produces at least 570 bhp (425 kW).
The Tokyo Motor Show kicks off on November 20th, so expect to learn more shortly.
