German aftermarket specialist mcchip-dkr has revealed a power boost for the Porsche 911 (997) Turbo S.

The 3.8-liter Turbo DFI of the 997 Turbo S was equipped with the tuner's stage three kit which includes a modified engine management with software updates, as well as a custom exhaust system with sports catalytic set and header from Cargraphic. As a result of the enhancements, output of the engine was raised from the series 530 HP (390 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) to 600 HP (441 kW) and 815 Nm (601 lb-ft) of torque. mcchip-dkr is asking 8,499 EUR for the additional power boost.

Aside from getting more power, the 997 Turbo S was fitted with a roll cage and a rear window made from a makrolon polycarbonate which is lighter than the standard glass. The car is now sitting on the original alloy set from the 997 GT2 RS and has received Michelin Cup tires. Other changes include Bilstein coilovers and Recaro SPG shell-type racing seats covered in a mixture of Alcantara and leather.
