The second generation of the Nissan Qashqai has been spied one last time ahead of tomorrow's full reveal.

We have seen the new Qashqai in plenty of spy photos and in several teasers as well, a car which Nissan has "reinvented from the ground up" and will "redefine the crossover sector and set new standards." These last spy pics show the second-gen Qashqai's proportions and we can easily see it will be considerably smaller than the recently unveiled X-Trail.

Looking more refined than the outgoing model, the 2014 Qashqai will be offered only with five seats since the role of a seven-seater will be attributed to the aforementioned X-Trail which will be offered with two extra optional seats.

Engine lineup will include (but not limited to) a newly developed 113 bhp (84 kW) 1.2-liter DiG-T four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine and two diesels: a 1.5-liter dCi with 108 bhp (80 kW) and a 1.6-liter dCi rated at 128 bhp (95 kW).

Check back tomorrow for the full scoop regarding the new Qashqai.
