ATS has unveiled the 300 Leggera representing its third model after the Sport 1000 and 2500 GT shown in 2012.

Italian automaker ATS was brought back to life last year and now they are presenting their third model entitled 300 Leggera. The model is envisioned as homage to the typical Italian small sports cars of the 50s and 60s. It's "300" moniker is a reference to the model's power-to-weight ratio of 300 bhp / ton in a car without any electronic aids such as traction control and EBD.

The ATS 300 Leggera is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine outputting 200 bhp (149 kW) in a body that weighs just 650 kg (1,433 lbs). ATS mentions each car will be custom-built according to the customer's specifications.

Pricing kicks off at 30,000 while deliveries are expected to start next year in European and American markets.
