The first pictures of the 2014 Porsche Macan have hit the web a little early thanks to scans from an upcoming issue of Auto Motor und Sport.
Set to be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the model will have Cayenne-inspired styling with a distinctive rear end that has a tailgate-mounted spoiler and slender taillights. The crossover will also have LED-infused headlights, a sloping roofline and curvaceous bodywork.
The cabin follows in the footsteps of the Cayenne and has a three-spoke steering wheel as well as a familiar dashboard and center console. We can also see dark trim, metallic accents and a large infotainment system.
Under the hood, two petrol engines will be available and they will have outputs of 340 HP (250 kW) and 400 HP (294 kW). Nothing is official but they are expected to be a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 and a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6.
The Porsche Macan is slated to go into production in December and the mid-level S variant is expected to cost about $52,000.
