Rolls-Royce chief Torsten Müller-Ötvös acknowledged the company's designers are working on possible stylings for an SUV, but the car is still a few years away.

Rumors about a Rolls-Royce SUV have been swirling on the web for a considerable amount of time but without any exact and confirmed details. In an interview given to Autocar, Rolls-Royce chief Torsten Müller-Ötvös said designers are creating possible designs for the model which has not been confirmed for production. Even if it will, the car is still several years away so chances are it will be launched towards the end of the decade.

Müller-Ötvös added Rolls-Royce will not introduce a new model priced below the Ghost which means that if green-lighted for production the SUV will have a starting price of around 250,000 GBP. Production will take place at the company's Goodwood factory where they will have to add a third shift.
