The 2015 Renault Twingo has returned in a new batch of spy photos ahead of a public debut programmed for September 2014 at the Paris Motor Show.
Looking more mature and evolved than the outgoing model, the new rear-wheel drive Twingo will implement many of the design cues seen on the Twin-Z and Twin’Run concepts and as far as we know it will be available only as a five-door hatchback. After taking a closer look at these spy shots we noticed the rear side windows are actually hinged quarter windows which certainly won't be to everyone's liking.
Power is expected to come from a range of frugal three-cylinder engines which will be shared with the new generation of the Smart ForTwo. Just like Opel/Vauxhall is doing with the Adam and Fiat with the 500, Renault will offer the new Twingo with a wide array of customization options to entice buyers.
The car is expected to go on sale before the end of 2014.
