Our spies have sent us a new batch of photos with a 2016 Jaguar XF mule testing on the Nordschleife in Germany.
The prototype looks like a smaller mule of the upcoming entry-level XS sedan but upon a closer inspection we notice the wheelbase is longer than on the baby Jaguar and the car is also considerably wider. The second generation of the XF will come with redesigned rear doors which appear to be shorter than on the current model and it will also have wider front wheel cases and new air intakes underneath the A-pillar.
Our sources have informed us the 2016 Jaguar XF will come with newly developed engines which are currently being tested at the Nordschleife on these prototypes. Expect to see the new XF to be unveiled sometime around 2015 as a 2016MY.
