Lotus Exige 265E Makes Japanese Debut

The (still) unique Lotus Exige 265E has left the British Isles for the first time and straight away makes it all the way to Japan! The JSAE (Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan) Annual Congress in Yokohama, taking place may 23rd to 25th, takes the honours. The 265E can run on any mixture of gasoline and BioEthanol, ranging from 100% gasoline to, surprise surprise 100% BioEthanol. What I'm trying to say is that this is one of the fastest BioEthanol powered cars on the planet, especially now that TopGear was so kind to crash the Koenigsegg CCXR. See the press release for more info and specs.
