BMW has quietly ceased production of the 1-Series Coupe and Convertible.
The 1-Series Convertible was phased out in June, while the last 1-Series Coupe rolled off the assembly line in August.
Leaked specifications have shown the models will be offered with at least three different engines including:
- A 2.0-liter petrol with 183 HP (135 kW) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque
- A 2.0-liter diesel with 183 HP (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque
- A 3.0-liter inline-six with 326 HP (240 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque
The latter model, the M235i, will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
