Audi is introducing the A5 DTM Champion special edition to celebrate Mike Rockenfeller's triumph in the 2013 DTM season.

Only 300 cars will be built and Audi plans on charging 1,900 EUR for the A5 DTM Champion package which obviously comes with a lot of DTM badges positioned on the side sills, fenders and door sill trims. The car also features a fixed rear wing painted in the same color as the rest of the body, while the exterior mirrors boast an aluminum look. Rounding off the list of changes are the 20-inch 5 V-spoke alloy wheels.

Available on order starting next week, the limited-run Audi A5 will be offered in Glacier White, Daytona Gray and Misano Red paint schemes. Engine choices will include a 2.0 TDI quattro with 177 HP (130 kW), a 3.0 TDI quattro rated at 245 HP (180 kW), a 2.0 TFSI quattro delivering 225 HP (165 kW) and a 3.0 TFSI quattro producing 272 HP (200 kW).

As a side note, BMW launched a similar DTM Champion Edition of the M3 towards the end of last year after Bruno Spengler won the competition.
