Morgan has announced Charles Morgan "is no longer part of the management team or Board of Directors" of the company. However, Charles Morgan is appealing the decision.
Yesterday, Morgan announced Charles Morgan "is no longer part of the management team or Board of Directors" of the company.
Everything seemed simple enough but Charles Morgan has told Autocar that he is "appealing the decision" which implies he was removed from the company. Charles has remained relatively quiet about the situation but tweeted followers that it has been a "sad strange day" and thanked fans for the outpouring of support.
The Board of Directors, for their part, said the decision reflects the "scale and complexity of an increasingly global business." The company added "Whilst these are significant developments for the company, the Morgan family, Directors and management team look forward to sharing more news with the wider Morgan community in the near future."
As a refresher, Charles Morgan was removed from his position as managing director earlier this year following a move by share holders and the Board of Directors. At the time, Morgan said he wasn't "stepping down, aside or going anywhere!"
