Ben Collins has revealed some new details about his experience as the Stig on Top Gear.

During a Reddit Ask Me Anything event, Collins said his relationship with the show is "frosty but warm - but not boiling, more luke[warm] with a slice of lime and hint of mint." He added that he got to see several of his old co-workers while working as a stunt driver on Skyfall but he hasn't come across Clarkson since he outed himself as the Stig in 2010.

Speaking of his departure, Collins said "The BBC had leaked my name to the Radio Times and the tabloids ran various stories, so I handed in my notice. I wanted to go full time racing again anyway, so it was a new lease of life."

When asked about his best experience on the show, Collins said it was coaching Billy Baxter to drive the Top Gear track. Despite being blind, Baxter did the lap "100% himself with me shouting expletives and directions as fast as I could." He added, "I could have kissed him, had he not been sweating quite as much from the effort. Billy was epic."

Collins also revealed that there are currently several Stigs and he only got a "25 minute blind date" with supercars on the show because the tires could only handle five or six laps.
