The current generation of the Hyundai Sonata has reached its final model year, ahead of a replacement programmed for the 2015MY.

2014MY brings several minor design changes such as a revised front grille, rear fascia insert, HID xenon headlights, LED taillights and different 17- and 18-inch alloys. Moving inside, the cabin has gained better carpets for improved sound insulation and a tire pressure monitoring system for all trim levels.

The SE and Limited trims now have a full-leather steering wheel, a 4.3-inch touchscreen with rearview camera and HD Radio, as well as a Supervision cluster with color LCD. SE benefits from carbon fiber interior trim, a body-colored spoiler and LED dome light, whereas the Limited trim now has standard ventilated driver seat and redesigned automated temperature controls. All versions receive more foam in the A and B pillars as a method to diminish noise, vibration and harshness.

The entry-level 2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS starts at 21,350 USD, making it 155 USD more expensive than 2013MY.
