According to a recent report, Peugeot will introduce a 6008 crossover concept at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.
Details are limited but Auto Express is reporting the model will be based on the Citroen Wild Rubis concept and measure approximately 4.7 meters long. Since the model is envisioned as an Audi Q5 and BMW X3 competitor, it will have a stylish exterior that borrows cues from the 2008 and 308. This means we can expect a prominent grille, distinctive headlights and svelte bodywork.
Peugeot Managing Director Maxime Picat declined to go into specifics but told the magazine “We will continually push the brand upmarket – it’s a priority over the coming years."
If everything pans out, a production version will be launched in China and could eventually be brought to Europe in 2016.
