Ford has announced several revisions for its 2015 F-Series lineup, including a second-gen V8 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel engine.

The engine made its debut in 2011 and now time has come for the second generation which brings a larger GT37 turbocharger to produce more power than the 400 bhp and 800 lb-ft of the first-gen motor.

Ford didn't specify how powerful the new engine is, but they did mention it has received new polymer coating on the main bearings, a five-layer head gasket and an increased crankshaft damper weight. Other changes include a reengineered six-speed 6R140 TorqShift gearbox with a new torque convertor, a four-layer exhaust manifold gasket, piston assembly upgrades and a better crankshaft fillet design.

The 2015MY F-450 has also been revised as it now has upgraded suspension components and rear driveline U-joints, along with beefier brakes, new engine calibration and stronger steering gears.

As for the more elegant King Ranch version, this comes with several leather updates in the cabin and can now be had in a darker Caribou paint for the lower body, bumpers and wheel lip moldings, while the bumper caps, bed rail caps and running boards have a black look.
