Rolls-Royce is reportedly considering a range of coachbuilt limited editions.

According to Edmunds, the limited edition models would be based on pre-existing cars but adopt a restyled carbon fiber body. This sounds rather unorthodox but the publication points out that there have been a number of coachbuilt Rolls-Royces over the years and the carbon fiber bodies would be easier to tool than conventional steel or aluminum panels.

Edmunds goes on to say this would allow the company to create low-volume, high-end models that would appeal to customers looking for something more exclusive than the Ghost or Phantom.
