Cadillac has released several new teasers for the 2015 Escalade.
The teasers don't reveal much, but the company teamed up with Autumn de Wilde to create a film and a series of portraits that highlight the SUV's development. The videos are incredibly dull but Cadillac says images she took will "highlight the sophistication, luxury, and iconic nature of the Escalade in an expression different than that of traditional automotive photography."
Regardless, the recent unveiling of the Chevrolet Tahoe / Suburban and GMC Yukon / Yukon XL suggests the model will ride on a stronger body-on-frame platform and have inlaid doors that fit into the body side openings. We can also expect a higher quality interior with wood trim and fold flat second- and third-row seats.
Motivation will likely be provided by a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine that develops 420 bhp (313 kW) and 450 lb-ft (610 Nm) of torque. It should be connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system.
