In the United States, the new S-Class can be had from 92,900 USD if you opt for the base S550 model while for an additional 5,900 USD it can be configured with a sporty body kit and five-spoke 19-inch alloys, along with lots of accessories like a rear spoiler (500 USD), wheel hub inserts (17 USD) and license plate frame (60 USD).

If you are willing to spend more, Premium 1 Package (4,500 USD) brings keyless go, ventilated multi-contour front seats with massage function and power rear-side window sunblinds. Other goodies include heated rear seats and steering wheel, as well as various other packages such as Air Balance, Executive Rear Seat and Warmth and Comfort.

There are ten exterior paints to choose from, along with twelve interior color options matched with four types of trim. Mercedes-Benz is offering five alloy wheel styles in sizes of up to 20 inches, a Burmester sound system and a Driver Assistance Package worth 2,800 USD.

The more expensive and powerful S63 AMG will be available from November at a starting price of 139,500 USD.
