Grand Theft Auto V and Gran Turismo 6 have been stealing all the headlines lately so Microsoft decided to get a little creative their latest promo for Forza Motorsport 5.
While the "FilmSpeed" looks computer animated, it was actually shot using a McLaren MP4-12C which had a camera-mounted to its engine bay. To get the computer-like effect, 680 frames of Forza Motorsport 5 footage were placed aluminum panels around a race track. The car was then driven by Tanner Foust - at speeds up to 120 mph (193 km/h) - while the camera recorded everything. The end result is probably best described by Top Gear USA co-host Rutledge Wood who called it the "world's fastest zoetrope."
As a refresher, Forza Motorsport 5 will go on sale in the United States on November 22nd.
