The latest installment of the franchise took 5 years to make and has cost up to a reported $250 million. If accurate, it easily overtakes the record held by Call Of Duty: Black Ops II which raked in $500 million on its first day of sales.

To put this figure into perspective, it took blockbuster movie “Fast and Furous 6” the entire summer to make $780 million.
