Following an announcement made almost two weeks ago, Datsun has revealed the GO+ which is essentially an MPV version of the budget GO hatchback.

Far from being a looker, the Datsun GO+ is a 5+2 MPV measuring 3995mm long, 1635mm wide and 1485mm tall. It has a 2450mm wheelbase and from the front it looks identical to its hatchback sibling. Although it shares the same wheelbase as the hatchback, the overall length has increased by 210mm to provide more room at the back which can now hold two additional passengers.

Power will come from the same modest 1.2-liter gasoline engine coupled to a five-speed manual transmission sending output to the front axle. The interior cabin seems to lack an AM/FM radio as this was replaced by the Datsun Mobile Docking Station providing smartphone integration.

Both Datsun GO and GO+ will be manufactured in Purwakarta, Indonesia and are scheduled to go on sale sometime next year. Pricing for both models will start at below 100M Indonesian rupiah.
