Joe Sylvester has established a new world record for the longest monster truck jump.

The "Bad Habit" monster truck weighs no less than 10,200 lbs (4,626 kg), but that hasn't stopped Joe from establishing a new monster truck jump record, after his 2010 success when he jumped 208 feet with a 1,400 bhp (1,044 kW) 2006 Cadillac Escalade. His 2010 record was taken down several times but now Joe has returned and accomplished an impressive 237-feet, 6-inch jump at the 2013 Cornfield 500.

His Ram-bodied "Bad Habit" monster truck equipped with KMC Wheels arrived at the ramp at 85 mph (137 km/h) and was only 1 mph (1.6 km/h) away from reaching the current land speed record for a monster truck. With this run he bested the previous record by an impressive 23 feet.
