Alfa Romeo brought to this year's Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany the modestly revised Giulietta.

It takes a trained eye to spot the differences brought by the facelift but we'll make things easier for you by pointing them out. First of all, the front grille has gone through a subtle revision, just like the fog lights which now have chrome surrounds. There are new alloy designs in sizes ranging from 16 to 18 inches, along with three new exterior paint hues: Moonlight Pearl, Anodizzato Blue and Bronze.

Inside the cabin there are new wrap-around seats boasting a different trim, Uconnect infotainment system available with 5- or 6.5-inch touchscreen display, new steering wheels and updated finishes on the dashboard, door handles and panels. Various packages like Style, Visibility, Comfort, Lusso, Premium, Business and QV Sportiva will be offered for further customization options after selecting from one of the five available trim levels (Impression, Progression, Distinctive, Exclusive and Quadrifoglio Verde).

The 2014 Alfa Romeo Giulietta facelift will be available with a new 2.0-liter JTDM 2 engine outputting 150 HP (110 kW) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) at 1,750 rpm. The engine boasts a second-gen MultiJet injection system which promises to reduce fuel consumption and noise.

Further details are available in the press release section.
