The revision doesn't bring a lot of cosmetic exterior updates as we only see changes in the headlights, front grille, air intakes and alloy design. Dacia has also revised the roof bars which have slatted supports, while at the back there are more chrome inserts and different badging. An "Adventure" exterior package brings door sill protectors and flared wheel arches, whereas "Off-road" comes with a bull bar and satin chrome strips.

The interior was mostly carried over from the second-gen Logan/Sandero but with the window controls positioned on the doors, along with new upholstery choices, revised seats and reinforced rear bench seat backs. Some of the new accessories added include a child seat, fire extinguisher kit, anti-theft system and snow chains. The MEDIA NAV infotainment system is available for upper-spec trims and offers Bluetooth connectivity support.

The most important change is under the hood where Dacia will offer a more powerful 4-cylinder, 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 125 HP (92 kW) transferred to the front axle or all four wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox. Renault's Romanian budget arm says the car equipped with this engine will return 39.2 mpg US (47 mpg UK or 6 liters / 100 km).
