Bentley has introduced the Continental GT V8 S at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Looking bold and aggressive, the model is distinguished by a front splitter, revised side sills and a rear diffuser. Other highlights include red brake calipers and exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels.
The cabin carries over relatively untouched but gains Piano Black trim, knurled chrome accents, "S" branded sill plates and a contrasting center stripe on the roof liner.
Motivation is provided by an upgraded twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 528 HP (389 kW) and 680 Nm (502 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a rear-biased all-wheel drive system which enables the coupe to run from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.5s) and hit a top speed of 192 mph (309 km/h). Likewise, the convertible accelerates from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.7s) and has a top speed of 191 mph (308km/h).
The model has also been equipped with a retuned suspension that has stiffer spring and bushings and a beefier anti-roll bar. Engineers also made modifications to the steering, electronic damping and ESC systems to deliver a more "exhilarating and involving driving experience."
