Mercedes is celebrating the M-Class' first year in Japan by launching a special ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC 1st Anniversary Edition.

Mercedes has introduced the ML350 BlueTEC 4MATIC 1st Anniversary Edition in Japan.

Available exclusively in Obsidian Black or Diamond White metallic, the special edition is equipped with an AMG styling package that includes modified bumpers, revised side skirts and 20-inch alloy wheels. The crossover also has privacy glass and stainless steel running boards.

Interior changes are limited but the cabin features AMG sports seats, an AMG steering wheel and brushed aluminum trim. Other highlights include special floor mats and stainless steel pedals.

Like the standard model, the special edition is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine that produces 258 HP (190 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a 7G-TRONIC PLUS transmission and a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

Production will be limited to 100 units and pricing starts at ¥8,600,000 ($88,065 / €66,075).
