This latest special edition is based on the Ambition trim and comes with a few glossy black finish touches on the boot lid rear spoiler, exterior mirror covers and the bars on the front bumper and doors. It sits on two-tone black & silver 17-inch Ray alloy wheels and is available with one of the following paint schemes: Denim Blue, Corrida Red, Sprint Yellow and Candy White. It can be configured with xenon headlights and front fog lights with cornering function.
On the inside it gets stainless steel pedals, new seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a piano lacquer finish matching the piano black dashboard inserts. The handbrake and gear stick are also covered in leather, while the standard radio/CD player can be replaced with an optional Amundsen+ satellite navigation system with DAB radio support.
As far as engines are concerned, the 2013 Skoda Rapid StylePLUS can be fitted with a modest 1.2 MPI engine delivering 73 bhp (55 kW), a 1.2 TSI offered with 84 bhp (63 kW) or 103 bhp (77 kW), along with a 1.4 TSI outputting 120 bhp (90 kW). On the diesel side, the 1.6 TDI is available with 88 bhp (66 kW) or 103 bhp (77 kW).
