A prototype of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG was spied while tackling the Nürburgring in Germany.

With the V8-powered S63 AMG already revealed, Mercedes-Benz is working hard on the more powerful V12-engined S65 AMG which based on what we've heard will be available on order in January 2014. The rumored V12 6.0-liter is expected to churn 630 HP (463 kW) and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) which will probably be electronically limited.

The powerful twin-turbo engine will be mated to a seven-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT transmission allowing the most powerful S-Class ever to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in approximately four seconds. The S65 AMG will allegedly do 20 mpg US (24.3 mpg UK or 11.6 liters / 100 km) and should be offered with the optional Magic Body Control system.

Deliveries are programmed to start in March next year.
