Audi has released several design sketches with the 2014 A8 facelift which will be revealed online next Wednesday.
Don't expect the refreshed A8 to be a breakthrough in terms of styling as the design will be evolutionary rather than revolutionary. A more significant change will occur in 2016 when the all-new model is expected to hit the market. This facelifted A8 will come with slightly modified front and rear bumpers, together with an updated front grille and redesigned exhaust finishers.
One of the most important changes in Audi's flagship model will be introduction of matrix LED headlights which have 25 individual diodes and promise to deliver the optimal amount of light regardless of road conditions. In addition, the 2014 A8 will come with redesigned sequentially-illuminated turn signals consisting of 18 LEDs in the headlights and 24 LEDs in the taillights.
The 2014 Audi A8 facelift will be shown to the public in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
