Toyota has introduced the new Hilux Invincible. It is a range-topping model that features additional chrome trim and little else.

Toyota has introduced the new Hilux Invincible.

Designed to combine "power and dependability with greater comfort and style," the range-topping model will additional chrome trim, a silver front underguard and the obligatory Invincible badging. Moving up the Invincible Sport adds leather seats, a chrome rollover bar and two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels.

Interior changes are limited but model features silver accents and and "Invincible" sill plates.

Under the hood, there's a 2.5-liter D-4D engine that is connected to a manual transmission. Customers can also order a 3.0-liter D-4D engine which can be paired to a manual or automatic gearbox. Regardless of which engine is selected, all models can be equipped with an optional four-wheel drive system.

The Hilux Invincible will go on sale in later this year and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
