Nissan has announced plans to launch the 2013 Terrano on August 20 at an event organized in India.
Essentially a rebadged version of the Dacia/Renault Duster, the Terrano revival will come with a slightly more premium exterior design and several interior cabin modifications like rectangular air vents. These tweaks will have a downside as Nissan's version of the budget off-roader will be slightly more expensive than the other two cars.
The 2013 Nissan Terrano will be manufactured at a Renault-Nissan factory located in Oragadam, Chennai, India. At this facility they are currently building the local-market Renault Duster and Dacia Duster for other markets like UK and Ireland.
The car is expected to effectively go on sale in November with the same engine lineup as the Duster.
