VUHL is showcasing the 05 sports car at Goodwood Festival of Speed, after the vehicle's launch last month in London at Royal Automobile Club.

Set to rival the Ariel Atom, BAC Mono and the KTM X-Bow, the VUHL 05 is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbocharged engine delivering 285 bhp (212 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) linked to a six-speed manual gearbox. It tips the scales at 725 kg (1,598 lbs) and will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds before reaching a top speed of 152 mph (245 km/h).

The VUHL 05 benefits from front and rear double wishbone suspension and sits on 17-inch front / 18-inch rear OZ alloys shod in 205/45 and 235/45 tires, respectively. Braking is done by four-pot alloy calipers with 310mm front / 280mm rear ventilated cross-drilled discs.

Inside it gets carbon bucket seats, electronic data acquisition dash, water-resistant Dinamica suede trim, integral HD camera and a 330mm quick-release, water-resistant steering wheel wrapped around in suede.

Already available on order, the VUHL 05 has a starting price of 55,000 GBP (before taxes and shipping charges). Deliveries will commence next spring in UK and North America, but later on the car will arrive in other European countries, Middle East and China.
