A Ferrari 599 GTO crashed and burned on a coastal road in the Dominican Republic.

More than a year ago a horrible accident in Singapore involving a speeding 599 GTO ended with fatalities, but luckily this time we are talking only about a wrecked car. Details are scarce at the moment but we do know the crash occurred at 4:30 in the morning on one of the coastal roads of the Dominican Republic.

As previously seen in other accidents, the Ferrari caught fire right after the crash and melted almost completely. Although the photos may beg to differ, the driver escaped unharmed. A fire extinguisher should become standard equipment on all Ferraris from now on.
