We could be looking at the seven-seater version of the upcoming BMW 1-Series GT.

Wearing the same swirly camo as before, the prototype appears larger than the standard five-seater 1-Series GT and also has longer rear doors and an elongated wheelbase to grant easier access to the third row seats. In terms of design it should borrow some of the styling cues seen on the Concept Active Tourer (CAT) which was unveiled last year at Paris Motor Show.

It will allegedly be available with FWD and AWD setups and is likely to receive the new 3-cylinder, 1.5-liter TwinPower Turbo engine. BMW mentioned the gasoline engines will be offered in outputs varying from 122 HP (90 kW) to 224 HP (165 kW), while diesels will generate from 82 HP (60 kW) to 184 HP (135 kW). It's not known at the moment which versions of the engine the 1-Series GT seven-seater will get, but hopefully BMW will shed some light in the near future.
