Kia has disclosed UK pricing details for the 2013 pro_cee'd GT which kicks off at 19,995 GBP.

Under the hood is a 1.6-liter T-GDi turbocharged gasoline engine developing 201 bhp (150 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 265 Nm (195 lb-ft) of torque between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm. Linked to a six-speed manual gearbox, it will run the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in a fairly disappointing 7.4 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 143 mph (230 km/h).

Kia is offering the model in two trim levels (GT and GT Tech), together with a limited-run 1st Edition available in 500 units (50 cars for UK). GT gets an attractive body kit, dual exhaust, "ice-cube" LED DRLs, red brake calipers and 18-inch graphite grey alloys. Inside it has Recaro seats, black headlining, along with several glossy black trim items.

GT Tech begins at 22,495 GBP and adds seven-inch touchscreen with sat-nav, reversing camera, heated front seats and steering wheel, stop/start button, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone AC and auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

1st Edition starts at 23,995 GBP and comes with all GT Tech goodies plus high-gloss black inserts on the alloys, "GT" illuminated sill scuff plates with edition numbering, sliding electric sunroof with automatic roller blind, red ambient lightning with front footwell illumination and high-gloss door mirror casings.

GT and GT Tech are available with Track Red, Fusion White and Phantom Black paints, while 1st Edition comes exclusively in Fusion White.
