The Peugeot RCZ R production version has been photographed on the streets, ahead an official debut scheduled next month at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Peugeot previewed the RCZ R in September 2012 at the Paris Motor Show with a concept packing a 1.6-liter THP mill delivering 260 bhp (194 kW). The RCZ R is about to become Peugeot's most powerful production model ever once it goes on sale before the end of the year.

Aside from the additional oomph, the RCZ R will also pack a Torsen limited-slip differential, bespoke alloy wheels and a sport-tuned suspension. As the blurry photo shows, it will remain pretty much faithful to the preview concept, featuring a dual exhaust arrangement and a rear spoiler.
