Aston Martin has released new details about the 2014 V12 Vantage S.
First and foremost, the company announced the car's 6.0-liter V12 engine - that produces 573 HP (421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) - will enable the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds (0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds) and hit a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). This makes the V12 Vantage S the company's fastest accelerating production model since the One-77.
Aston Martin also announced pre-tax pricing will start at £138,000 in the UK, €179,950 in Germany, $184,995 in the United States and $389,300 AUD in Australia.
According to Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez, “The new V12 Vantage S brings our winning GT3 race formula to the road. It’s a car for those customers who want superior sporting performance in a ‘gentleman’s suit’. It’s the most pure, yet understated, driving machine we can imagine today.”
